اَلَّذِیۡنَ عٰہَدتَّ مِنۡہُمۡ ثُمَّ یَنۡقُضُوۡنَ عَہۡدَہُمۡ فِیۡ کُلِّ مَرَّۃٍ وَّہُمۡ لَا یَتَّقُوۡنَ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Those with whom thou didst make a covenant; then they break their covenant every time, and they do not fear God.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
(یعنی) وہ لوگ جن سے تو نے معاہدہ کیا پھر وہ ہر بار اپنا عہد توڑ دیتے ہیں اور وہ ڈرتے نہیں۔

Ceux avec qui tu as fait un pacte ; puis chaque fois ils violent leur pacte sans aucune crainte.

jene, mit denen du einen Bund schlossest; dann brechen sie jedesmal ihren Bund, und sie fürchten Gott nicht.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
وہ لوگ جن سے تو نے عہد کیا مگر وہ ہر دفعہ اپنا عہد توڑ دیتے ہیں اور (خدا کا) تقویٰ اختیار نہیں کرتے۔

The ones with whom you made a treaty but then they break their pledge every time, and they do not fear Allah.

جن لوگوں سے تو نے عہد لیا پھر وہ ہر دفعہ اپنے عہد کو توڑتے ہیں اور وہ نہیں ڈرتے

Excepting those of the idolaters with whom you have entered into a treaty and who have not subsequently failed you in anything nor aided anyone against you. So fulfil to these the treaty you have made with them till their term. Surely, Allah loves those who are righteous.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
سوائے مشرکین میں سے ایسے لوگوں کے جن کے ساتھ تم نے معاہدہ کیا پھر انہوں نے تم سے کوئی عہد شکنی نہیں کی اور تمہارے خلاف کسی اور کی مدد بھی نہیں کی۔ پس تم اُن کے ساتھ معاہدہ کو طے کردہ مدت تک پورا کرو۔ یقیناً اللہ متقیوں سے محبت کرتا ہے۔
French
Sauf ceux des idolâtres avec qui vous avez conclu un traité, et qui n’ont failli aucunement dans l’accomplissement de leurs obligations envers vous, et qui n’ont soutenu personne contre vous. Remplissez donc l’engagement conclu avec ceux-là jusqu’au terme convenu. Assurément, Allāh aime ceux qui sont droits.

Mit Ausnahme jener Götzendiener, mit denen ihr einen Vertrag eingegangen seid, und die es euch nicht an etwas haben gebrechen lassen und nicht andere wider euch unterstützt haben. Diesen gegenüber haltet den Vertrag, bis zum Ablauf der Frist. Wahrlich, Allah liebt die Gerechten.

Ad eccezione di quegli idolatri con cui avete stipulato un trattato e che non sono venuti meno all'adempimento dei loro obblighi verso di voi e che non hanno dato assistenza a nessuno contro di voi. Così attenetevi a questi trattati stipulati con loro, fino al termine stabilito. Certo Allah ama quelli che sono giusti.

Exceptuados aquellos de los idólatras con los que habéis concluido un tratado y que no os hayan fallado en el cumplimiento de sus obligaciones ni ayudado a nadie contra vosotros. Cumplid pues estos tratados que habéis establecido con ellos hasta su término. En verdad, Al-lah ama a los justos.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
ہاں مشرکوں میں سے جن سے تم نے عہد کیا ہے پھر انہوں نے تم سے (بالکل) عہد شکنی نہیں کی‘ اور تمہارے خلاف کسی کی مدد نہیں کی تم ان کے عہد کو ان (عہدوں) کی مدت (مقررہ) تک نباہو (اور ان کو ملک سے نہ نکالو) اللہ یقیناً متقیوں کو پسند کرتا ہے۔

Commentary:
The verse makes an exception of such idolatrous tribes as had entered into a treaty with Muslims. These tribes were Banu Khuza‘ah, BanuMudlij, Banu Bakr, Banu Dumra and some of the Banu Sulaim tribes. The verse incidentally throws interesting light on the sanctity that Islam attaches to treaties and agreements. It requires its followers to respect their inviolability at all costs, and declares that faithfulness to the plighted word is an act of piety which earns the love of God.

بجز اُن مشرکین کے جن سے تم نے معاہد ے کیے پھر انہوں نے اپنے عہد کو پورا کرنے میں تمہارے ساتھ کوئی کمی نہیں کی اور نہ تمہارے خلاف کسی کی مدد کی، تو ایسے لوگوں کے ساتھ تم بھی مدت معاہدہ تک وفا کرو کیونکہ اللہ متقیوں ہی کو پسند کرتا ہے

Excepted are those with whom you made a treaty among the polytheists and then they have not been deficient toward you in anything or supported anyone against you; so complete for them their treaty until their term [has ended]. Indeed, Allah loves the righteous [who fear Him].

مگر جن مشرکوں سے تم نے عہد کیا تھا پھر انہوں نے تمہارے ساتھ کوئی قصور نہیں کیا اور تمہارے مقابلے میں کسی کی مد نہیں کی سو ان سے ان کا عہد ان کی مدت تک پورا کر دو بے شک الله پرہیز گارو ں کو پسند کرتا ہے
