وَمِزَاجُهُۥ مِن تَسْنِيمٍ

And it will be tempered with the water of Tasnim,

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اُس کا مزاج تسنیم سے (مرکّب) ہوگا۔

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور اس میں تسنیم[3] کی آمیزش ہوگی۔

تَسْنِیْم کے معنے لغت میں بلند شان ہونے کے ہوتے ہیں۔ پس تسنیم کی آمیزش سے مراد یہ ہے کہ تسنیم کا پانی ان جنتیوں کے پینے والے پانی میں ملا ہوا ہوگا جن کی وجہ سے ان کے درجے بلند ہوتے چلے جائیں گے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And it will be tempered with the water of Tasnim,

English - Five Volume Translation

And it will be tempered with the water of Tasnim,[4637]

Important Words:

تسنیم (tasnim) is inf. noun from سنم (sannama). They say سنم الشیء i.e. he raised the thing. سنم فلان الاناء means, such a one filled the vessel. تسنیم is taken to be a fountain in Paradise; water coming from above: the knowledge of God. Figuratively, it means, the Word of God.

Commentary:

If رحیق (pure beverage) be taken as referring to the Quran, تسنیم are revelations that are sent down to the Chosen Ones of God—the righteous followers of the Holy Prophet.

اُس شراب میں تسنیم کی آمیزش ہوگی

And its mixture is of Tasneem,
