[1] فَكِهَ , aor. فَكَهَ , inf. n. فَكَاهَةٌ (S, Mgh, K) and فَكَهٌ, (K, TA,) [the latter inf. n. correctly thus, agreeably with a general rule, in the CK with the ك quiescent, but said in the TA to be بالتحريك,] (assumed tropical:) He was, or became, cheerful, happy, or free from straitness; (S, Mgh, K;) jocose, or given to jesting, (S, Mgh,) and to laughing: (Mgh, K:) or one who talked to his companions and made them to laugh. انہوں نے (یعنی فرعون کی قوم نے) اپنے پیچھے بہت سے باغ اور چشمے اور کھیتیاں اور بڑے آرام دہ مقام اور ایسی رہائش والی جگہیں جن میں خوب خوش رہا کرتے تھے چھوڑیں۔

What a graphic picture of the great material blessings which the people of Pharaoh had enjoyed!

کتنے ہی عیش کے سر و سامان، جن میں وہ مزے کر رہے تھے اُن کے پیچھے دھرے رہ گئے

Enjoying what their Lord has bestowed on them; and their Lord has saved them from the torment of the Fire.

اُس پر خوشیاں مناتے ہوئے جو اُن کے رب نے انہیں عطا کیا اور ان کا ربّ ان کو جہنّم کے عذاب سے بچائے گا۔

Jouissant de ce que leur Seigneur leur a accordé ; et leur Seigneur les a protégés du supplice de la Fournaise de l’Enfer.

genießend die Gaben, die ihr Herr ihnen bescheren wird; und ihr Herr wird sie vor der Pein des Feuers bewahren.

(اور) جو کچھ ان کا رب ان کو دے گا اس پر خوش ہوں گے اور ان کا رب ان کو دوزخ کے عذاب سے بچا لے گا۔
