اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اس نے کہا میرے ربّ نے جو مجھے تمکنت بخشی ہے وہ بہتر ہے۔ پس تم صرف قوّت کے ذریعہ میری مدد کرو میں تمہارے اور ان کے درمیان ایک بڑی روک بنا دوں گا۔

Il répondit : « Le pouvoir dont mon Seigneur m’a doué à ce propos vaut mieux, mais vous pouvez m’aider avec la force de votre main-d’œuvre ; j’élèverai un rempart entre vous et eux.

Er antwortete: "Die Macht, die mein Herr mir dafür gegeben hat, ist besser, doch ihr mögt mir den Arm leihen, so will ich zwischen euch und ihnen eine starke Schranke errichten.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اس نے کہا (کہ) اس (قسم کے کاموں) کے متعلق میرے رب نے جو طاقت مجھے بخشی ہے وہ (دشمنوں کے سامانوں سے) بہت بہتر ہے اس لئے تم مجھے مقدور بھر مدد دو تا کہ میں تمہارے درمیان اور ان کے درمیان ایک روک بنادوں۔

He replied, ‘The power with which my Lord has endowed me about this is better than the resources of my enemies but you may help me with strength of labourers,[1730] I will set up a rampart between you and them;

اس نے کہا " جو کچھ میرے رب نے مجھے دے رکھا ہے وہ بہت ہے تم بس محنت سے میری مدد کرو، میں تمہارے اور ان کے درمیان بند بنائے دیتا ہوں

He said, "That in which my Lord has established me is better [than what you offer], but assist me with strength; I will make between you and them a dam.

Commentary:

Cyrus said to the inhabitants of the place that he had the plan of the wall and other necessary material ready with him but they must provide human labour. The word قوة means physical strength i.e. human labour.
