اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اس پر اللہ نے اس (مومن شخص) کو اُن (کفار) کی تدبیروں کے بدنتائج سے بچا لیا اور آل فرعون کو دردناک عذاب نے چاروں طرف سے گھیر لیا۔

So Allah preserved him from the evils of whatever they plotted, and a grievous punishment encompassed the people of Pharaoh—

The result was that Allah preserved him from the evils of whatever they plotted, and a grievous punishment encompassed the people of Pharaoh—[3528]
Commentary:
It seems that the people of Pharaoh had hatched a plot to kill the "believing man" or do him some other grievous injury. Not only did the plot itself fall through but a terrible punishment also encompassed the plotters.

آخرکار اُن لوگوں نے جو بری سے بری چالیں اُس مومن کے خلاف چلیں، اللہ نے اُن سب سے اُس کو بچا لیا، اور فرعون کے ساتھی خود بدترین عذاب کے پھیر میں آ گئے

So Allah protected him from the evils they plotted, and the people of Pharaoh were enveloped by the worst of punishment -

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اُن کو ان (جنتوں) میں کوئی موت نہیں آئے [1]گی‘ سوائے پہلی موت کے (جو اخروی زندگی سے پہلے آچکی ہے) اور اللہ ان کو دوزخ کے عذاب سے بچائے گا۔
یعنی وہ ایک طویل عرصہ تک اگلے جہان کی زندگی کا مزہ اٹھاتے رہیں گے۔
