2:269

ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ يَعِدُكُمُ ٱلْفَقْرَ وَيَأْمُرُكُم بِٱلْفَحْشَآءِ ۖ وَٱللَّهُ يَعِدُكُم مَّغْفِرَةً مِّنْهُ وَفَضْلًا ۗ وَٱللَّهُ وَٰسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ

Allah / Promised Forgiveness, RewardAlms (Sadaqah) / Satan Dissuades You From SpendingAttributes Of Allah / Al-‘alim (All-Knowing)Attributes Of Allah / Al-Wasi‘ (The Bountiful)Bounty / Allah Bestows HisEconomy (Amwal)Forgiveness (‘Afw) / Allah GrantsForgiveness (‘Afw) / PromisedIndecencyPromise / Of AllahPromise / To SatanSatan / Leads Astray, TemptsSatan / Tempts Through Human Weaknesses
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Satan threatens you with poverty and enjoins upon you what is foul, whereas Allah promises you forgiveness from Himself and bounty. And Allah is Bountiful, All-Knowing.
3:153

وَلَقَدْ صَدَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَعْدَهُۥٓ إِذْ تَحُسُّونَهُم بِإِذْنِهِۦ ۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا فَشِلْتُمْ وَتَنَٰزَعْتُمْ فِى ٱلْأَمْرِ وَعَصَيْتُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ مَآ أَرَىٰكُم مَّا تُحِبُّونَ ۚ مِنكُم مَّن يُرِيدُ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَمِنكُم مَّن يُرِيدُ ٱلْءَاخِرَةَ ۚ ثُمَّ صَرَفَكُمْ عَنْهُمْ لِيَبْتَلِيَكُمْ ۖ وَلَقَدْ عَفَا عَنكُمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

And Allah had surely made good to you His promise when you were slaying and destroying them by His leave, until, when you became lax and disagreed among yourselves concerning the order and you disobeyed after He had shown you that which you loved, He withdrew His help. Among you were those who desired the present world, and among you were those who desired the next. Then He turned you away from them, that He might try you — and He has surely pardoned you, and Allah is Gracious to the believers. —
4:96

لَّا يَسْتَوِى ٱلْقَٰعِدُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ غَيْرُ أُو۟لِى ٱلضَّرَرِ وَٱلْمُجَٰهِدُونَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ ۚ فَضَّلَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُجَٰهِدِينَ بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ عَلَى ٱلْقَٰعِدِينَ دَرَجَةً ۚ وَكُلًّا وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ۚ وَفَضَّلَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُجَٰهِدِينَ عَلَى ٱلْقَٰعِدِينَ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا

Equality Of ManGoodness / Allah Has PromisedGrace (Fadl) / ExaltationJihad / Is For AllahMercy / For BelieversPromise / Of AllahWealth / Believers Rewarded
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Those of the believers who sit still, excepting the disabled ones, and those who strive in the cause of Allah with their wealth and their persons, are not equal. Allah has exalted in rank those who strive with their wealth and their persons above those who sit still. And to each Allah has promised good. And Allah has exalted those who strive above those who sit still, by a great reward,
5:10

وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ ۙ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ

Actions (A‘mal) / RewardedGoodness / Allah Has PromisedJaza’ / Recompense / Of Believers, Of RighteousPromise / Of AllahReward (Jaza’), Ajr

Allah has promised those who believe and do good deeds that they shall have forgiveness and a great reward.
8:8

وَإِذْ يَعِدُكُمُ ٱللَّهُ إِحْدَى ٱلطَّآئِفَتَيْنِ أَنَّهَا لَكُمْ وَتَوَدُّونَ أَنَّ غَيْرَ ذَاتِ ٱلشَّوْكَةِ تَكُونُ لَكُمْ وَيُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُحِقَّ ٱلْحَقَّ بِكَلِمَٰتِهِۦ وَيَقْطَعَ دَابِرَ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ

Badr / Battle Of / Victory AtKalimat / WordsPromise / Of Allah

And remember the time when Allah promised you one of the two parties‡ that it should be yours, and you wished that the one without sting should be yours, but Allah desired to establish the truth by His words and to cut off the root of the disbelievers,
9:72

وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا وَمَسَٰكِنَ طَيِّبَةً فِى جَنَّٰتِ عَدْنٍ ۚ وَرِضْوَٰنٌ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ أَكْبَرُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ

Abide (Baqa) / Righteous Will In HeavenGoodness / Allah Has PromisedParadise (Jannah) / Description OfParadise (Jannah,Jannate ‘Adn)Paradise (Jannah) / Rewards Of, For The Righteous Men And Women, The Martyrs, The (Muhajirun), The Patient, Those Who Fear Allah, The PenitentPromise / Of AllahRidwan / Allah’s PleasureRiver / Of ParadiseSuccess (Fauz), (Ghalabah)Tayyib
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Allah has promised to believers, men and women, Gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide, and delightful dwellingplaces in Gardens of Eternity. And the pleasure of Allah is the greatest of all. That is the supreme triumph.
9:111

۞ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ ٱشْتَرَىٰ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَأَمْوَٰلَهُم بِأَنَّ لَهُمُ ٱلْجَنَّةَ ۚ يُقَٰتِلُونَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَيَقْتُلُونَ وَيُقْتَلُونَ ۖ وَعْدًا عَلَيْهِ حَقًّا فِى ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِ وَٱلْإِنجِيلِ وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ ۚ وَمَنْ أَوْفَىٰ بِعَهْدِهِۦ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ فَٱسْتَبْشِرُوا۟ بِبَيْعِكُمُ ٱلَّذِى بَايَعْتُم بِهِۦ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ

Surely, Allah has purchased of the believers their persons and their property in return for the Garden they shall have; they fight in the cause of Allah, and they slay and are slain — a promise that He has made incumbent on Himself in the Torah, and the Gospel, and the Qur’an. And who is more faithful to his promise than Allah? Rejoice, then, in your bargain which you have made with Him; and that it is which is the supreme triumph.
13:36

۞ مَّثَلُ ٱلْجَنَّةِ ٱلَّتِى وُعِدَ ٱلْمُتَّقُونَ ۖ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ ۖ أُكُلُهَا دَآئِمٌ وَظِلُّهَا ۚ تِلْكَ عُقْبَى ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوا۟ ۖ وَّعُقْبَى ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ ٱلنَّارُ

Allah / Parables Set Forth By, (Amthal)Disbelief (Kufr) / Punishment Of AJaza’ / Recompense / Of Believers, Of RighteousNahr / Flowing StreamsParable Of / Garden For BelieversParadise (Jannah) / Description OfParadise (Jannah) / Rewards Of, For The Righteous Men And Women, The Martyrs, The (Muhajirun), The Patient, Those Who Fear Allah, The PenitentPromise / Of AllahRighteous (Salihin) / Rewarded
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
The similitude of the Heaven promised to the God-fearing is, that through it flow streams: its fruit is everlasting, and so is its shade. That is the reward of those who are righteous; and the reward of the disbelievers is Fire.
18:49

وَعُرِضُوا۟ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ صَفًّا لَّقَدْ جِئْتُمُونَا كَمَا خَلَقْنَٰكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍۭ ۚ بَلْ زَعَمْتُمْ أَلَّن نَّجْعَلَ لَكُم مَّوْعِدًا

Day Of Requital / Resurrection, (Yaumul-Qiyamah, Yaumud-Din, Yaumul-Akhirah, Yaumul-Ba‘th) / On That DayPromise / Of AllahRows (Saff)

And they will be presented to thy Lord, standing in rows: ‘Now have you come to Us as We created you at first. But you thought that We would fix no time for the fulfilment of Our promise to you.’
19:62

جَنَّٰتِ عَدْنٍ ٱلَّتِى وَعَدَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ عِبَادَهُۥ بِٱلْغَيْبِ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ وَعْدُهُۥ مَأْتِيًّا

Attributes Of Allah / Ar-Rahman (The Gracious, Beneficent)Paradise (Jannah) / Description OfParadise (Jannah,Jannate ‘Adn)Promise / Of AllahUnseen / Secret, HiddenParadise (Jannah) / Rewards Of, For The Righteous Men And Women, The Martyrs, The (Muhajirun), The Patient, Those Who Fear Allah, The Penitent
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Gardens of Eternity, which the Gracious God has promised to His servants in the unseen. Surely, His promise must come to pass.
19:88

لَّا يَمْلِكُونَ ٱلشَّفَٰعَةَ إِلَّا مَنِ ٱتَّخَذَ عِندَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ عَهْدًا

Allah / Intercessors, Gods, Besides Have No PowerIntercession (Shifa‘ah)Muhammad(sa) / Intercession OfPromise / Of Allah

None will have the power of intercession save he who has received a promise from the Gracious God.
21:102

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ سَبَقَتْ لَهُم مِّنَّا ٱلْحُسْنَىٰٓ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ عَنْهَا مُبْعَدُونَ

Good Deeds (Hasanat)Paradise (Jannah) / Rewards Of, For The Righteous Men And Women, The Martyrs, The (Muhajirun), The Patient, Those Who Fear Allah, The PenitentPromise / Of AllahGog & Magog (Yajuj Wa Majuj)
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
But as for those for whom the promise of a good reward has already gone forth from Us, these will be removed far from it.
21:104

لَا يَحْزُنُهُمُ ٱلْفَزَعُ ٱلْأَكْبَرُ وَتَتَلَقَّىٰهُمُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ هَٰذَا يَوْمُكُمُ ٱلَّذِى كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ

Allah / Sends Angels To Reassure SteadfastPromise / Of AllahGog & Magog (Yajuj Wa Majuj)Paradise (Jannah) / Rewards Of, For The Righteous Men And Women, The Martyrs, The (Muhajirun), The Patient, Those Who Fear Allah, The Penitent

The Great Terror will not grieve them, and the angels will meet them, saying, ‘This is your day which you were promised.’
21:105

يَوْمَ نَطْوِى ٱلسَّمَآءَ كَطَىِّ ٱلسِّجِلِّ لِلْكُتُبِ ۚ كَمَا بَدَأْنَآ أَوَّلَ خَلْقٍ نُّعِيدُهُۥ ۚ وَعْدًا عَلَيْنَآ ۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا فَٰعِلِينَ

Remember the day when We shall roll up the heavens like the rolling up of written scrolls by a scribe. As We began the first creation, so shall We repeat it — a promise binding upon Us; We shall certainly perform it.
23:36

أَيَعِدُكُمْ أَنَّكُمْ إِذَا مِتُّمْ وَكُنتُمْ تُرَابًا وَعِظَٰمًا أَنَّكُم مُّخْرَجُونَ

Bones / Resurrection After Are Turned To DustDust / Bones Turned IntoPromise / Of AllahHud(as) / Story Of

‘Does he promise you that when you are dead and have become dust and bones, you will be brought forth again?
24:56

وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ كَمَا ٱسْتَخْلَفَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ دِينَهُمُ ٱلَّذِى ٱرْتَضَىٰ لَهُمْ وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِمْ أَمْنًا ۚ يَعْبُدُونَنِى لَا يُشْرِكُونَ بِى شَيْـًٔا ۚ وَمَن كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْفَٰسِقُونَ

Allah has promised to those among you who believe and do good works that He will surely make them Successors in the earth, as He made Successors from among those who were before them; and that He will surely establish for them their religion which He has chosen for them; and that He will surely give them in exchange security and peace after their fear: They will worship Me, and they will not associate anything with Me. Then whoso is ungrateful after that, they will be the rebellious.
25:16

قُلْ أَذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ أَمْ جَنَّةُ ٱلْخُلْدِ ٱلَّتِى وُعِدَ ٱلْمُتَّقُونَ ۚ كَانَتْ لَهُمْ جَزَآءً وَمَصِيرًا

Jaza’ / Recompense / Of Believers, Of RighteousParadise (Jannah) / Believers Who Do Good Works Will EnterParadise (Jannah,Jannatul-Khuld)Promise / Of AllahRighteous (Salihin) / Rewarded
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Say, ‘Is that better or the Garden of Eternity, which is promised to the righteous? It will be their reward and resort.’
25:17

لَّهُمْ فِيهَا مَا يَشَآءُونَ خَٰلِدِينَ ۚ كَانَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ وَعْدًا مَّسْـُٔولًا

Paradise (Jannah) / Description OfPromise / Of Allah

They will have therein whatsoever they desire, abiding therein for ever. It is a promise from thy Lord, to be always prayed for.
