پھر وہ اپنے ساتھیوں کی طرف چلے گئے اور کہا کہ یقیناً تم ہی ظالم ہو۔

اَنْفُسَ نَفْسٌ کی جمع ہے اور نفس کے معنی روح کے ہیں چونکہ قوم کی روحیں اس کے سردار ہوتے ہیں اس لئے ہم نے اَنْفُس کا ترجمہ سردارانِ قوم کیا ہے۔

So they returned to [blaming] themselves and said [to each other], "Indeed, you are the wrongdoers."

اَنْفُسَ نَفْسٌ کی جمع ہے اور نفس کے معنی روح کے ہیں چونکہ قوم کی روحیں اس کے سردار ہوتے ہیں اس لئے ہم نے اَنْفُس کا ترجمہ سردارانِ قوم کیا ہے۔

اے لوگو! تم ہی ہو جو اللہ کے محتاج ہو اور اللہ ہے جو غنی (اور) ہر تعریف کا مالک ہے۔

Ô hommes, vous êtes des mendiants devant Allāh, mais Allāh est Celui Qui n’a besoin de rien, le Digne de louange.
German
O ihr Menschen, ihr seid Allahs bedürftig, Allah aber ist der Sich Selbst Genügende, der Preiswürdige.

人们啊! [e]你们是需要安拉的。安拉是自足的, 值得赞颂的。
47:39.

O uomini, voi siete dei semplici mendicanti davanti ad Allah, mentre Allah è Colui che non ha bisogno di nessuno, sempre Degno di lode.

Oh, humanos, sois meros mendigos ante Al-lah, mientras que Al-lah es Quien no necesita ayuda de nadie, el Merecedor de alabanza.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اے لوگو! تم اللہ کے محتاج ہو اور اللہ کسی کا محتاج نہیں‘ بلکہ سب تعریفوں کا مالک ہے (یعنی دوسروں کی حاجتیں پوری کرتا ہے) ۔

47:39.

Commentary:
The verse points to man’s utter helplessness. Man needs God’s help every moment of his life. He needs it for his physical sustenance and he needs it for his spiritual sustenance and God, out of His unbounded grace and mercy, has made provision for both.

لوگو، تم ہی اللہ کے محتاج ہو اور اللہ تو غنی و حمید ہے
