English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
That is because they have preferred the present life to the Hereafter, and because Allah guides not the disbelieving people.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
یہ اس لئے ہے کہ انہوں نے آخرت پر (ترجیح دیتے ہوئے) دنیا کی زندگی کو پسند کر لیا اور اس وجہ سے (بھی) ہے کہ اللہ ہرگز کافر قوم کو ہدایت نہیں دیتا۔

اور ایسا اس سبب سے ہوگا کہ انہوں نے اس ورلی زندگی سے محبت کرکے اسے آخرت پر مقدم کر لیا اور (نیز اس وجہ سے کہ) اللہ کفر اختیار کرنے والے لوگوں کو ہدایت نہیں دیتا۔

Commentary:
The verse purports to say that as the Quran is the revealed word of God and contains nothing but truth, dissatisfaction with its teaching can never be the cause of its rejection. It must be due to expediency, the consideration of worldly interests or mental perversion of the rejecter. But the disbeliever rejects it to his own cost.

یہ اس لیے کہ اُنہوں نے آخرت کے مقابلہ میں دنیا کی زندگی کو پسند کر لیا، اور اللہ کا قاعدہ ہے کہ وہ اُن لوگوں کو راہ نجات نہیں دکھاتا جو اُس کی نعمت کا کفران کریں

Commentary:
