English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And when the two hosts came in sight of each other the companions of Moses said, ‘We are surely overtaken.’

پس جب دونوں گروہوں نے ایک دوسرے کو دیکھا تو موسیٰ کے ساتھیوں نے کہا یقیناً ہم تو پکڑے گئے۔

Et lorsque les deux troupes furent en vue l’une de l’autre, les compagnons de Moïse dirent : « Nous sommes sûrement rejoints. »

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
پھر جب دونوں گروہ ایک دوسرے کے سامنے ہوئے تو موسیٰ کے ساتھیوں نے کہا‘ ہم تو پکڑے گئے۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
And when the two hosts came in sight of each other the companions of Moses said, ‘We are surely caught.’[2117]
The companions of Moses seemed to possess very weak faith. This is also clear from 5:22, 23; 7:149; 20:87-92.

This verse shows that the companions of Moses were generally men of very weak faith. This is also clear from several other verses of the Quran. See 5:22-23; 7:149; 20:87-92, etc.

جب دونوں گروہوں کا آمنا سامنا ہوا تو موسیٰؑ کے ساتھی چیخ اٹھے کہ "ہم تو پکڑے گئے"
