ہمیں تو تم پر کسی قوی دلیل کی برتری حاصل نہیں تھی بلکہ تم خود ہی حد سے گزرنے والے لوگ تھے۔

Et nous n’avions aucun pouvoir sur vous ; mais vous étiez vous-mêmes un peuple rebelle.
