يَعْتَذِرُونَ إِلَيْكُمْ إِذَا رَجَعْتُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ ۚ قُل لَّا تَعْتَذِرُوا۟ لَن نُّؤْمِنَ لَكُمْ قَدْ نَبَّأَنَا ٱللَّهُ مِنْ أَخْبَارِكُمْ ۚ وَسَيَرَى ٱللَّهُ عَمَلَكُمْ وَرَسُولُهُۥ ثُمَّ تُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَٰلِمِ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
They will make excuses to you when you return to them. Say, ‘Make no excuses; we will not believe you. Allah has already informed us of the facts about you. And Allah will observe your conduct, and also His Messenger; then you will be brought back to Him Who knows the unseen and the seen, and He will tell you all that you used to do.’
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
وہ تم سے معذرتیں کریں گے جب تم اُن کی طرف واپس آؤ گے۔ تُو کہہ دے کوئی عذر پیش نہ کرو۔ ہم ہرگز تم پر اعتبار نہیں کریں گے۔ اللہ نے ہمیں تمہارے حالات سے باخبر کر دیا ہے اور اللہ یقیناً تمہارے اعمال کو دیکھ رہا ہے اسی طرح اُس کا رسول بھی۔ پھر (ایسا ہوگا کہ) تم غیب اور حاضر کا علم رکھنے والے کی طرف لوٹائے جاؤ گے۔ پس وہ تمہیں اس کی خبر دے گا جو تم کیا کرتے تھے۔

Ils vous feront des excuses quand vous reviendrez parmi eux. Dis : « Ne vous excusez point ; nous ne vous croirons pas. Allāh nous a déjà informés de vos nouvelles. Et Allāh observera votre conduite, et Son Messager aussi ; et ensuite, vous serez ramenés auprès de Celui Qui connaît l’invisible et le visible, et Il vous informera de ce que vous faisiez. »

Sie werden euch Entschuldigungen vorbringen, wenn ihr zu ihnen zurückkehrt. Sprich: "Bringt keine Entschuldigungen vor; wir glauben euch doch nicht. Allah hat uns schon über eure Angelegenheit belehrt. Schauen wird Allah und Sein Gesandter auf euer Tun; dann werdet ihr zu dem Kenner des Verborgenen und des Offenbaren zurückgebracht werden, und Er wird euch alles verkünden, was ihr zu tun pflegtet."

当你们 (于战后) 归来见到他们时, 他们向你们托故。你 (对他们) 说: “不要托故; 我们绝不相信你们的 (托辞); 安拉已经通知了我们关于你们的 (真实) 情况。安拉和他的使者将观察你们的行为; 然后你们将被带到全知隐微和显着的安拉那里去, 他将告诉你们往常的行为。”

Essi vi troveranno delle scuse, quando tornerete da loro. Di': «Non inventate scuse. Non vi crederemo. Riguardo a voi, Allah ci ha già informati. E Allah osserverà la vostra condotta, e così pure il Suo messaggero. Poi sarete ricondotti a Lui, che conosce il visibile e l'invisibile, ed Egli vi informerà su tutto quello che avete fatto.»

Os presentarán excusas cuando volváis a ellos. Diles: “No os excuséis; no os creeremos. Al-lah nos ha informado ya de todo lo eferente a vosotros. Y Al-lah observará vuestra conducta, como también Su Mensajero; más tarde seréis devueltos a Él, a Quien conoce lo invisible y lo visible, y Él os dirá todo lo que solíais hacer”.

جب تم جنگ سے ان کی طرف واپس لوٹ کر آتے ہو تو وہ تمہارے پاس آکر (قسم قسم کے) عذر کرتے ہیں‘ تو ان سے کہہ دے کہ عذر نہ کرو۔ ہم (تمہارے عذروں کو) ہرگز تسلیم نہیں کریں گے۔ اللہ نے تمہارے حالات سے ہم کو خبر دے دی ہے اور اللہ اور اس کا رسول تمہارے عملوں کو بھانپتے رہیں گے۔ پھر تم حاضر و غائب کو جاننے والے خدا کے حضور لوٹائے جاؤ گے۔ پس وہ تمہارے عملوں کی حقیقت سے تم کو خبردار کرے گا۔

They will make excuses to you when you return to them. Say, ‘Make no excuses; we shall not believe you. Allah has already informed us of the true facts about you. And Allah will observe your conduct, and also His Messenger; then you will be brought back to Him Who knows the unseen and the seen, and He will tell you all that you used to do.’[1209]

تم جب پلٹ کر ان کے پاس پہنچو گے تو یہ طرح طرح کے عذرات پیش کریں گے مگر تم صاف کہہ دینا کہ "بہانے نہ کرو، ہم تہاری کسی بات کا اعتبار نہ کریں گے اللہ نے ہم کو تمہارے حالات بتا دیے ہیں اب اللہ اور اس کا رسول تمہارے طرز عمل کو دیکھے گا پھر تم اس کی طرف پلٹائے جاؤ گے جو کھلے اور چھپے سب کا جاننے والا ہے اور وہ تمہیں بتا دے گا کہ تم کیا کچھ کرتے رہے ہو"

God will surely see your work, and His Messenger, then you will be returned to Him who knows the unseen and the visible, and He will tell you what you were doing.'

Commentary:
Though the party of Muslims referred to in the preceding verses repented and their repentance was accepted, yet they are here told that repentance cannot be complete unless one shows by one’s later actions, that one has really and truly reformed oneself. These men are, therefore, warned in this verse that their future actions would be particularly watched.

The verse gives another argument against Jesus’ godhead, viz. that the Creator and Controller of the universe must possess complete knowledge of His creation but Jesus himself confesses to his knowledge being defective and incomplete (Mark 13:32).

And those who disbelieve say, ‘The Hour will never come upon us.’ Say, ‘Yea, by my Lord Who knows the unseen, it will surely come upon you! Not an atom’s weight in the heavens or in the earth or any thing less than that or greater escapes Him, but all is recorded in a perspicuous Book,

جن لوگوں نے کفر کیا وہ کہتے ہیں کہ ساعت ہم پر نہیں آئے گی۔ تُو کہہ دے کیوں نہیں؟ میرے ربّ کی قسم! جو عالم الغیب ہے، وہ ضرور تم پر آئے گی۔ اُس (یعنی میرے ربّ) سے آسمانوں اور زمین میں ایک ذرہ برابر بھی کوئی چیز چھپی نہیں رہتی اور نہ اس سے چھوٹی اور نہ اس سے بڑی، مگر وہ کھلی کھلی کتاب میں ہے۔

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اور کافروں نے کہا کہ ہماری قوم کی تباہی کی آخری گھڑی ہم نہیں[4] دیکھیں گے تو کہہ دے ایسا نہیں‘ مجھے اپنے (اس) رب کی قسم جو غیب کا جاننے والا ہے اور آسمانوں اور زمین میں سے کوئی چیز خواہ ایک سرخ چیونٹی کے برابر ہو یا اس سے بھی چھوٹی یا اس سے بڑی ہو اس کی نظروں سے غائب نہیں رہتی۔ یہ گھڑی تم ضرور دیکھو گے کیونکہ وہ ایک ظاہر کر دینے والی تحریر میں محفوظ ہے۔
یعنی ہمارے زمانہ میں وہ دن نہیں آئے گا۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
And those who disbelieve say, ‘The Hour will never come upon us.’ Say, ‘Yea, by my Lord Who knows the unseen, it will, surely, come upon you. [a]Not an atom’s weight in the heavens or in the earth or anything less than that or greater escapes Him, but all is recorded in a perspicuous Book,[2377]
10:62.
The subject of the preceding verse is further elaborated and developed in the present one, viz. that no action good or bad goes unrequited. The disbelievers are thus warned that their opposition to Islam and their persecution of Muslims will not go unpunished.

The reference in the word "Hour" is to the hour of the triumph of Islam and the defeat and discomfiture of disbelief.

منکرین کہتے ہیں کہ کیا بات ہے کہ قیامت ہم پر نہیں آ رہی ہے! کہو، قسم ہے میرے عالم الغیب پروردگار کی، وہ تم پر آ کر رہے گی اُس سے ذرہ برابر کوئی چیز نہ آسمانوں میں چھپی ہوئی ہے نہ زمین میں نہ ذرے سے بڑی اور نہ اُس سے چھوٹی، سب کچھ ایک نمایاں دفتر میں درج ہے

اور کافر کہتے ہیں کہ ہم پر قیامت نہیں آئے گی کہہ دو ہاں (آئے گی) قسم ہے میرے رب غائب کے جاننے والے کی البتہ تم پر ضرور آئے گی جس سے آسمانوں اور زمین کی کوئی چیز ذرّہ کے برابر بھی غائب نہیں اور نہ ذرّہ سے چھوٹی اور نہ بڑی کوئی بھی ایسی چیز نہیں جو لوح محفوظ میں نہ ہو
