English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And be not like those who forgot Allah, and whom He has consequently caused to forget their own souls. It is they that are the rebellious.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
اور ان لوگوں کی طرح نہ ہو جاؤ جنہوں نے اللہ کو بھلا دیا تو اللہ نے انہیں خود اپنے آپ سے غافل کردیا۔ یہی بدکردار لوگ ہیں۔
French
Et ne soyez pas comme ceux qui ont oublié Allāh et par conséquent, Il leur a fait oublier leur propre âme. Ce sont eux qui sont les rebelles.

Und seid nicht gleich jenen, die Allah vergaßen und die Er darum ihre eigenen Seelen vergessen ließ. Das sind die Übertreter.

E non siate come coloro che hanno dimenticato Allah, così che Egli ha fatto loro dimenticare sé stessi. Sono loro i ribelli.

No seáis como quienes olvidaron a Al-lah, por lo que Él hizo que se olvidaran de sí mismos. Ellos son los rebeldes.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اور ان لوگوں کی طرح نہ بنو‘ جنہوں نے اللہ کو بھلا[1] دیا سو اللہ نے بھی ان کو اپنی جانوں کا فائدہ بھلا دیا یہ لوگ اطاعت سے باہر نکلنے والے ہیں۔
یعنی خداتعالیٰ کو بھولنے کا نتیجہ یہ ہوتا ہے کہ انسان ایسے کاموں میں مبتلا ہو جاتا ہے جو خود اس کی جان کے لئے بھی وبال بن جاتے ہیں۔

And be not like those who [a]forgot Allah, so He caused them to forget their own souls. It is they that are the transgressors.
9:67.

And be not like those who forgot Allah,[a] so He has caused to forget their own souls. It is they that are the rebellious.[4204]
9:67.
Commentary:
Man forgets God in three ways: (1) He rejects the very belief in the existence of God. (2) He has no real, true or living belief in a Supreme Being before Whom he shall have to render an account of his deeds (3) Forgetfulness. The inevitable and never-failing consequence of consigning God to oblivion is that man gets involved in matters which bring about his moral degradation and spiritual downfall, ending with loss of peace of mind.
اردو ترجمہ مودودی
اُن لوگوں کی طرح نہ ہو جاؤ جو اللہ کو بھول گئے تو اللہ نے اُنہیں خود اپنا نفس بھلا دیا، یہی لوگ فاسق ہیں
English - Sahih
And be not like those who forgot Allah, so He made them forget themselves. Those are the defiantly disobedient.

اور ان کی طرح نہ ہوں جنہوں نے الله کو بھلا دیاپھر الله نے بھی ان کو (ایسا کر دیا) کہ وہ اپنے آپ ہی کو بھول گئے یہی لوگ نافرمان ہیں
