English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
‘Verily, My Signs were recited unto you, but you used to turn back on your heels,

تم پر میری آیات تلاوت کی جاتی تھیں پھر بھی تم اپنی ایڑیوں کے بل پھر جاتے تھے۔

En vérité, Mes Signes vous furent récités, mais vous aviez l’habitude de vous retourner sur vos talons et de vous éloigner,

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
میری آیتیں تم کو پڑھ کر سنائی جاتی تھیں‘ (مگر تم ان سے بے پروائی کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے اور بے ہودہ باتیں کرتے ہوئے) اور اس سے روگردانی کرتے ہوئے اپنی ایڑیوں کے بل پھر جایا کرتے تھے۔
