فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُم مُّوسَىٰ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا بَيِّنَٰتٍ قَالُوا۟ مَا هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحْرٌ مُّفْتَرًى وَمَا سَمِعْنَا بِهَٰذَا فِىٓ ءَابَآئِنَا ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And when Moses came to them with Our clear Signs, they said, ‘This is nothing but sorcery devised, and we never heard the like of this among our forefathers.’
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
پس جب موسیٰ ان کے پاس ہمارے کھلے کھلے نشانات لے کر آیا تو انہوں نے کہا یہ تو ایک گھڑا ہوا جادو ہے اور ہم نے اپنے گزشتہ آباءو اجداد میں ایسا نہیں سنا۔

Et lorsque Moïse vint à eux avec Nos Signes manifestes, ils dirent : « Ceci n’est que de la magie inventée, et nous n’avons jamais entendu parler de ces choses parmi nos aïeux. »

E quando Mosè si recò da loro con i Nostri segni chiari, essi dissero: «Questa non è che stregoneria inventata, e noi non udimmo mai niente di simile tra i nostri antenati.»

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
پس جب موسیٰ ہماری کھلی کھلی آیتیں لے کر آیا تو فرعون کے لوگوں نے کہا‘ یہ تو ایک فریب ہے جو بنا لیا گیا ہے۔ ہم نے اپنے باپ دادوں سے ایسی بات کبھی نہیں سنی۔

پھر جب موسیٰؑ اُن لوگوں کے پاس ہماری کھُلی کھُلی نشانیاں لے کر پہنچا تو انہوں نے کہا کہ یہ کچھ نہیں ہے مگر بناوٹی جادوگر اور یہ باتیں تو ہم نے اپنے باپ دادا کے زمانے میں کبھی سُنیں ہی نہیں

But when Moses came to them with Our signs as clear evidences, they said, "This is not except invented magic, and we have not heard of this [religion] among our forefathers."
