وَاَنَّ ہٰذَا صِرٰطِیۡ مُسۡتَقِیۡمًا فَاتَّبِعُوۡہُ ۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا السُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِکُمۡ عَنۡ سَبِیۡلِہٖ ۚ ذٰلِکُمۡ وَصّٰٮکُمۡ بِہٖ لَعَلَّکُمۡ تَتَّقُوۡنَ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And say, ‘This is My path leading straight. So follow it; and follow not other ways, lest they lead you away from His way. That is what He enjoins upon you, that you may become able to guard against evils.’
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
اور یہ (بھی تاکید کرتا ہے) کہ یہی میرا سیدھا راستہ ہے پس اس کی پیروی کرو اور مختلف راہوں کی پیروی نہ کرو ورنہ وہ تمہیں اس کے رستہ سے ہٹادیں گی۔ یہ ہے وہ جس کی وہ تمہیں تاکیدی نصیحت کرتا ہے تاکہ تم تقویٰ اختیار کرو۔
French
Et dis : « Ceci est Mon droit chemin. Suivez-le donc ; et ne suivez pas d’autres voies, afin qu'elles ne vous égarent pas de la voie d’Allāh. Voilà ce qu’Il vous enjoint afin que vous soyez à l’abri du mal. »

Und dies ist Mein Weg, der gerade. So folget ihm; und folget nicht den (anderen) Pfaden, damit sie euch nicht weitab führen von Seinem Weg. Das ist es, was Er euch gebietet, auf dass ihr euch vor Bösem hütet.

(你说:) [e]“这确是我的正道, 你们要遵循 (这个道路), 不要遵循其他不同的道路, 不然, 它将引领你们离开他的正道。他将这事训诫你们, 以便你们成为敬畏的人。”

E di': «Questa è la Mia retta via. Così seguitela, e non seguite altre vie, che vi allontanerebbero dalla Sua via. Questo è quanto Egli vi comanda, perché siate in grado di guardarvi dal male.»

Y diles: “Éste es mi camino que lleva rectamente. Seguidlo, pues, y no sigáis otros caminos, no sea que os alejen de Su camino. sto es lo que Él os ordena, para que podáis protegeros contra los males”.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اور یہ یقیناً میرا سیدھا راستہ ہے‘ پس اس کی پیروی کرو اور مختلف راستوں کے پیچھے نہ پڑو نہیں تو وہ تمہیں اس (خدا) کے رستہ سے ادھر ادھر لے جائیں گے وہ اس (امر) کی تمہیں اس لئے تا کید کرتا ہے کہ تم متقی ہو جاؤ۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
And say, [f]‘This is My straight path. So follow it; and follow not other ways, lest they lead you away from His way. That is what He enjoins upon you, that you may be able to guard against evils.’

And say, [a]‘This is My path leading straight. So follow it; and follow not other ways, lest they lead you away from His way. That is what He enjoins upon you, that you may become able to guard against evils.’[893]

Commentary:
All the above injunctions have been jointly referred to here and we are told that if we act upon these teachings, we shall come under the protection of God, Who will enable us to guard ourselves against all evil.
اردو ترجمہ مودودی
نیز اس کی ہدایت یہ ہے کہ یہی میرا سیدھا راستہ ہے لہٰذا تم اسی پر چلو اور دوسرے راستوں پر نہ چلو کہ وہ اس کے راستے سے ہٹا کر تمہیں پراگندہ کر دیں گے یہ ہے وہ ہدایت جو تمہارے رب نے تمہیں کی ہے، شاید کہ تم کج روی سے بچو
English - Sahih
And, [moreover], this is My path, which is straight, so follow it; and do not follow [other] ways, for you will be separated from His way. This has He instructed you that you may become righteous.
اردو ترجمہ احمد علی
اور بے شک یہی میرا سیدھا راستہ ہے سو اسی کا اتباع کرواور دوسرے راستوں پر مت چلو وہ تمہیں الله کی راہ سے ہٹا دیں گے تمہیں اسی کا حکم دیا ہے تاکہ تم پرہیزگار ہو جاؤ
English - Talal Itani
And that, this (is) My path, straight, so follow it. And (do) not follow the (other) paths, then they will separate you from His path. That (He) has enjoined on you [with it] so that you may become righteous.

English - Arberry
And that this is My path, straight; so do you follow it, and follow not divers paths lest they scatter you from His path. That then He has charged you with; haply you will be godfearing.'

(x) This is My way -that which is straight: follow it, then, and do not follow other paths lest they scatter you from His path. This is what He has enjoined upon you, so that you may beware.'
