63:4

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ ءَامَنُوا۟ ثُمَّ كَفَرُوا۟ فَطُبِعَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

That is because they first believed, then disbelieved. So a seal was set upon their hearts and consequently they understand not.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

یہ اس لئے ہے کہ وہ ایمان لائے پھر انکار کردیا تو ان کے دلوں پر مہر کردی گئی۔ پس وہ سمجھ نہیں رہے۔

French

C’est parce qu’ils ont d’abord cru, et qu’ensuite ils ont mécru. Aussi, un sceau a été mis sur leur cœur, donc ils ne comprennent pas.

German

Dies, weil sie glaubten und hernach ungläubig wurden. So ist ein Siegel auf ihre Herzen gesetzt worden, also dass sie nicht verstehen.

那是因为他们 (首先) 信仰, 后来又[c]不信了。所以他们的心被封住了, 他们不会了解。

Questo perché dapprima credettero e poi non credettero più. Così, fu posto un sigillo sui loro cuori e, di conseguenza, non capiscono.

Spanish

Y es porque en primer lugar creyeron y después dejaron de creer. Se les puso, pues, un sello en sus corazones y, en consecuencia, no comprenden.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

یہ کام وہ اس لئے کرتے ہیں کہ وہ پہلے ایمان لائے پھر انہوں نے انکار کر دیا۔ جس کے نتیجہ میں ان کے دلوں پر مہر لگا دی گئی[1] اور اب وہ سمجھتے نہیں۔

مجہول کا صیغہ اس لئے استعمال کیا گیا ہے کہ یہ بتایا جائے کہ مُہر اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف سے بلاوجہ نہیں لگی بلکہ اس کا باعث ان لوگوں کے اپنے اعمال تھے‘ جن کے مخفی ہونے کی وجہ سے مجہول کا صیغہ استعمال کیا گیا ہے تا کہ مُہر لگانے کا فَاعِل اللہ تعالیٰ قرار نہ پائے بلکہ مُہر لگائے جانے کا باعث ان کے مخفی اعمال قرار پائیں۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

That is because they first believed and then [c]disbelieved. So a seal was set upon their hearts and consequently they understand not.[3050]

The hypocrites seem to have lost all reason and understanding since they labour under the misconception that by their wiles and glib talk they can deceive Allah and His Prophet.

That is because they first believed (and), then disbelieved.[c] So a seal was set upon their hearts and consequently they understand not.[4246]

Commentary:

The hypocrites, the verse purports to say, appear to have lost all reason and understanding since they labour under the misconception that by their wiles and glib talk they can deceive Allah and His Prophet.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

یہ سب کچھ اس وجہ سے ہے کہ ان لوگوں نے ایمان لا کر پھر کفر کیا اس لیے ان کے دلوں پر مہر لگا دی گئی، اب یہ کچھ نہیں سمجھتے

English - Sahih

That is because they believed, and then they disbelieved; so their hearts were sealed over, and they do not understand.

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

یہ اس لیے کہ وہ ایمان لائے پھر منکر ہو گئے پس ان کے دلوں پر مہر کر دی گئی ہے پس وہ نہیں سمجھتے
