2:8

خَتَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَعَلَىٰ سَمْعِهِمْ ۖ وَعَلَىٰٓ أَبْصَٰرِهِمْ غِشَٰوَةٌ ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ

Allah / Sets A Seal On Their Hearts, (Khatama), (Taba‘a)Ears / Disbelievers Do Not HearHeart (Sadr, Fu’ad, Qalb) / Sealed, Veiled, Rusted, Blind, StraitenedSeal (Khatama)Belief (Iman) / Those Who Have NoDisbelief (Kufr)
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Allah has set a seal on their hearts and their ears, and over their eyes is a covering; and for them is a great punishment.
4:156

فَبِمَا نَقْضِهِم مِّيثَٰقَهُمْ وَكُفْرِهِم بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَقَتْلِهِمُ ٱلْأَنۢبِيَآءَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ وَقَوْلِهِمْ قُلُوبُنَا غُلْفٌۢ ۚ بَلْ طَبَعَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهَا بِكُفْرِهِمْ فَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا

Allah / Sets A Seal On Their Hearts, (Khatama), (Taba‘a)Covenant (Mithaq, ‘Ahd) / With JewsHeart (Sadr, Fu’ad, Qalb) / Sealed, Veiled, Rusted, Blind, StraitenedKufr / DisbeliefProphets(as,Anbiya’) / Slaying OfSeal (Taba‘a)Bani Isra’il / Broke The Covenant, Perverted The Word

Then, because of their breaking of their covenant, and their denial of the Signs of Allah, and their seeking to kill the Prophets unjustly, and their saying: ‘Our hearts are wrapped in covers,’ — nay, but Allah has sealed them because of their disbelief, so they believe not but little —
9:87

رَضُوا۟ بِأَن يَكُونُوا۟ مَعَ ٱلْخَوَالِفِ وَطُبِعَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ

Allah / Sets A Seal On Their Hearts, (Khatama), (Taba‘a)Heart (Sadr, Fu’ad, Qalb) / Sealed, Veiled, Rusted, Blind, StraitenedSeal (Taba‘a)

They are content to be with the womenfolk, and their hearts are sealed so that they understand not.
9:93

۞ إِنَّمَا ٱلسَّبِيلُ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يَسْتَـْٔذِنُونَكَ وَهُمْ أَغْنِيَآءُ ۚ رَضُوا۟ بِأَن يَكُونُوا۟ مَعَ ٱلْخَوَالِفِ وَطَبَعَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

Allah / Sets A Seal On Their Hearts, (Khatama), (Taba‘a)Heart (Sadr, Fu’ad, Qalb) / Sealed, Veiled, Rusted, Blind, StraitenedSeal (Taba‘a)
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
The cause of reproach is only against those who ask leave of thee, while they are rich. They are content to be with the womenfolk. And Allah has set a seal upon their hearts so that they know not.
16:109

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ طَبَعَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَسَمْعِهِمْ وَأَبْصَٰرِهِمْ ۖ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْغَٰفِلُونَ

Allah / Sets A Seal On Their Hearts, (Khatama), (Taba‘a)Belief (Iman) / Recantation OfEars / Disbelievers Do Not HearHeart (Sadr, Fu’ad, Qalb) / Sealed, Veiled, Rusted, Blind, Straitened
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
It is they on whose hearts and ears and eyes Allah has set a seal. And it is they who are the heedless.
30:60

كَذَٰلِكَ يَطْبَعُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

Allah / Sets A Seal On Their Hearts, (Khatama), (Taba‘a)Heart (Sadr, Fu’ad, Qalb) / Sealed, Veiled, Rusted, Blind, StraitenedSeal (Taba‘a)Knowledge (‘Ilm) / And Disbelievers

Thus does Allah seal the hearts of those who have no knowledge.
40:36

ٱلَّذِينَ يُجَٰدِلُونَ فِىٓ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ سُلْطَٰنٍ أَتَىٰهُمْ ۖ كَبُرَ مَقْتًا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَعِندَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَطْبَعُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ قَلْبِ مُتَكَبِّرٍ جَبَّارٍ

Allah / Sets A Seal On Their Hearts, (Khatama), (Taba‘a)Arrogance / Punished For TheirDisputeHeart (Sadr, Fu’ad, Qalb) / Sealed, Veiled, Rusted, Blind, StraitenedMoral Traits / Arrogance, ConceitSeal (Taba‘a)Signs / Rejecters Of
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
“Those who dispute concerning the Signs of Allah without any authority having come to them. Grievously hateful is this in the sight of Allah and in the sight of those who believe. Thus does Allah seal up the heart of every arrogant, haughty person.”
47:17

وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَسْتَمِعُ إِلَيْكَ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا خَرَجُوا۟ مِنْ عِندِكَ قَالُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْعِلْمَ مَاذَا قَالَ ءَانِفًا ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ طَبَعَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَٱتَّبَعُوٓا۟ أَهْوَآءَهُمْ

Allah / Sets A Seal On Their Hearts, (Khatama), (Taba‘a)Heart (Sadr, Fu’ad, Qalb) / Sealed, Veiled, Rusted, Blind, StraitenedKnowledge (‘Ilm) / And Disbelievers
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And among them are some who listen to thee till, when they go forth from thy presence, they say to those who have been given knowledge, ‘What has he been talking about just now?’ These are they whose hearts Allah has sealed, and who follow their own evil inclinations.
63:4

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ ءَامَنُوا۟ ثُمَّ كَفَرُوا۟ فَطُبِعَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ

Allah / Sets A Seal On Their Hearts, (Khatama), (Taba‘a)Apostate (Murtad) / No Compulsion In ReligionApostate (Murtad) / Punishment For AnHeart (Sadr, Fu’ad, Qalb) / Sealed, Veiled, Rusted, Blind, StraitenedHypocrites (Munafiqin)

That is because they first believed, then disbelieved. So a seal was set upon their hearts and consequently they understand not.
