فَطَافَ عَلَیۡہَا طَآئِفٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّکَ وَہُمۡ نَآئِمُوۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Then a visitation from thy Lord visited it while they were asleep;

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

پس تیرے ربّ کی طرف سے اُس (باغ) پر ایک گھومنے والا (عذاب) پِھر گیا جبکہ وہ سوئے ہوئے تھے۔

French

Alors une calamité de ton Seigneur tomba dessus pendant qu’ils dormaient ;

German

Dann kam eine Heimsuchung über ihn von deinem Herrn, während sie schliefen.

Chinese

[a]结果是, 当他们夜间睡眠时, 你的养主在果园中降下了惩罚;

Quindi un castigo del tuo Signore lo visitò, mentre dormivano,

Al punto les sobrevino una visitación de tu Señor mientras estaban dormidos;

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

نتیجہ یہ ہوا کہ تیرے رب کی طرف سے (ان کے) اس (باغ) پر ایک آفت پھر گئی جبکہ وہ سو رہے تھے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

Commentary:

The verse means that Divine punishment overtook the "garden" in a sudden and swift sweep.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

رات کو وہ سوئے پڑے تھے کہ تمہارے رب کی طرف سے ایک بلا اس باغ پر پھر گئی

English - Sahih

So there came upon the garden an affliction from your Lord while they were asleep.

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

پھر تو اس پر رات ہی میں آپ کے رب کی طرف سے ایک جھونکا چل گیا درآنحالیکہ وہ سونے والے تھے

So there came upon it a visitation from your Lord, while they were asleep.
