4:7

وَٱبْتَلُوا۟ ٱلْيَتَٰمَىٰ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا بَلَغُوا۟ ٱلنِّكَاحَ فَإِنْ ءَانَسْتُم مِّنْهُمْ رُشْدًا فَٱدْفَعُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِمْ أَمْوَٰلَهُمْ ۖ وَلَا تَأْكُلُوهَآ إِسْرَافًا وَبِدَارًا أَن يَكْبَرُوا۟ ۚ وَمَن كَانَ غَنِيًّا فَلْيَسْتَعْفِفْ ۖ وَمَن كَانَ فَقِيرًا فَلْيَأْكُلْ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ ۚ فَإِذَا دَفَعْتُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ أَمْوَٰلَهُمْ فَأَشْهِدُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ حَسِيبًا

Allah / Is SufficientAttributes Of Allah / Al-Hasib (The Reckoner)Attributes Of Allah / Al-Kafi (The Sufficient)Evidence / Law Of (Shahadah)Moral Traits / ExtravaganceMoral Traits / HasteOrphans (Yatim) / Property OfPoorProperty / Devouring OthersGuardian (Wakil) / Over Wards, MinorsProperty / Of Orphans
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And prove the orphans until they attain the age of marriage; then, if you find in them sound judgment, deliver to them their property; and devour it not in extravagance and haste against their growing up. And whoso is rich, let him abstain; and whoso is poor, let him eat thereof with equity. And when you deliver to them their property, then call witnesses in their presence. And Allah is sufficient as a Reckoner.
4:46

وَٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِأَعْدَآئِكُمْ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ وَلِيًّا وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ نَصِيرًا

Allah / Is SufficientAttributes Of Allah / Al-Kafi (The Sufficient)Attributes Of Allah / An-Nasir (Helper)Attributes Of Allah / Al-Waliyy (The Friend, Protector)Friends (Auliya’) / Allah Is Friend, Protector, (Waliyy)

And Allah knows your enemies full well. And sufficient is Allah as a Friend, and sufficient is Allah as a Helper.
4:71

ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَضْلُ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ عَلِيمًا

Allah / Is SufficientAttributes Of Allah / Al-‘alim (All-Knowing)Bounty / Allah Bestows HisGrace (Fadl) / On Whom Allah Pleases

This grace is from Allah, and sufficient is Allah, the All-Knowing.
4:80

مَّآ أَصَابَكَ مِنْ حَسَنَةٍ فَمِنَ ٱللَّهِ ۖ وَمَآ أَصَابَكَ مِن سَيِّئَةٍ فَمِن نَّفْسِكَ ۚ وَأَرْسَلْنَٰكَ لِلنَّاسِ رَسُولًا ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ شَهِيدًا

Allah / All Good From, Evil From ThyselfAllah / Is SufficientAttributes Of Allah / Ash-Shahid (The Witness)Destiny / Man, Maker Of HisFree WillMankind / Holy Prophet(sa)Muhammad(sa) / Universality OfSin (Dhanb) / Man Accountable For HisWitness / Allah Bears WitnessPre-Destination (Qadr)
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Whatever of good comes to thee is from Allah; and whatever of evil befalls thee is from thyself. And We have sent thee as a Messenger to mankind. And sufficient is Allah as a Witness.
4:82

وَيَقُولُونَ طَاعَةٌ فَإِذَا بَرَزُوا۟ مِنْ عِندِكَ بَيَّتَ طَآئِفَةٌ مِّنْهُمْ غَيْرَ ٱلَّذِى تَقُولُ ۖ وَٱللَّهُ يَكْتُبُ مَا يُبَيِّتُونَ ۖ فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ وَكِيلًا

Allah / Is SufficientAttributes Of Allah / Al-Wakil (Disposer Of Affairs, Guardian, Trustee)Book (Kitab) / Repository Of Human Actions And ThoughtsMoral Traits / Secret PlottingNight / Secret Plotting AtTawakkul ‘Alallah / Trust In Allah

And they say: ‘Obedience is our guiding principle;’ but when they go forth from thy presence, a section of them spends the night scheming against what thou sayest. Allah records whatever they scheme by night. So turn away from them, and put thy trust in Allah. And sufficient is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.
4:133

وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ وَكِيلًا

Allah / Is SufficientAttributes Of Allah / Al-Wakil (Disposer Of Affairs, Guardian, Trustee)Tawakkul ‘Alallah / Trust In Allah

And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, and sufficient is Allah as a Guardian.
4:167

لَّٰكِنِ ٱللَّهُ يَشْهَدُ بِمَآ أَنزَلَ إِلَيْكَ ۖ أَنزَلَهُۥ بِعِلْمِهِۦ ۖ وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ يَشْهَدُونَ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ شَهِيدًا

Allah / Is SufficientAngels (Mala’ikah) / Bear WitnessAttributes Of Allah / Ash-Shahid (The Witness)Eternal / TruthKnowledge (‘Ilm) / Qur’an For Attainment OfQur’an / Angels Bear WitnessQur’an / And KnowledgeQur’an / Truth, Wisdom & Balance InWitness / Allah Bears WitnessWitness / Angels Bear
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
But Allah bears witness by means of the revelation which He has sent down to thee that He has sent it down pregnant with His knowledge; and the angels also bear witness; and sufficient is Allah as a Witness.
4:172

يَٰٓأَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ لَا تَغْلُوا۟ فِى دِينِكُمْ وَلَا تَقُولُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا ٱلْحَقَّ ۚ إِنَّمَا ٱلْمَسِيحُ عِيسَى ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ وَكَلِمَتُهُۥٓ أَلْقَىٰهَآ إِلَىٰ مَرْيَمَ وَرُوحٌ مِّنْهُ ۖ فَـَٔامِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِۦ ۖ وَلَا تَقُولُوا۟ ثَلَٰثَةٌ ۚ ٱنتَهُوا۟ خَيْرًا لَّكُمْ ۚ إِنَّمَا ٱللَّهُ إِلَٰهٌ وَٰحِدٌ ۖ سُبْحَٰنَهُۥٓ أَن يَكُونَ لَهُۥ وَلَدٌ ۘ لَّهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ وَكِيلًا

Adoration (Sabbih), Praise, Exalt, Pray, Glorify / Glory Be To AllahAllah / Has No Progeny, WifeAllah / Is OneAllah / Is SufficientAttributes Of Allah / Al-Ahad (The One, Unique)Attributes Of Allah / Al-Wakil (Disposer Of Affairs, Guardian, Trustee)Jesus (‘Isa(as)) / Anointed, HonouredJesus (‘Isa(as)) / Sonship Of, Divinity Of, Trinity Of, RefutedKalimat / WordsMary (Maryam)Mercy / Allah’s MercyPeople Of The Book (Ahlul-Kitab)Son Of… / MarySoul (Ruh), SpiritSoul (Ruh), Spirit / Allah BreathsTawakkul ‘Alallah / Trust In AllahTrinityTruth (Haqq) / Confound Not, Hide Not The
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
O People of the Book, exceed not the limits in your religion, and say not of Allah anything but the truth. Verily, the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was only a Messenger of Allah and a fulfilment of His word which He sent down to Mary, and a mercy from Him. So believe in Allah and His Messengers, and say not ‘They are three.’ Desist, it will be better for you. Verily, Allah is the only One God. Far is it from His Holiness that He should have a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. And sufficient is Allah as a Guardian.
10:30

فَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ شَهِيدًۢا بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ إِن كُنَّا عَنْ عِبَادَتِكُمْ لَغَٰفِلِينَ

Allah / Is SufficientWitness / Allah Bears Witness

‘So Allah is now sufficient as a Witness between us and you. We were certainly unaware of your worship.’
13:44

وَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَسْتَ مُرْسَلًا ۚ قُلْ كَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ شَهِيدًۢا بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَكُمْ وَمَنْ عِندَهُۥ عِلْمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ

Allah / Is SufficientAttributes Of Allah / Ash-Shahid (The Witness)Witness / Allah Bears Witness
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And those who disbelieve say, ‘Thou art not a Messenger.’ Say, ‘Sufficient is Allah as a Witness between me and you, and so is he who possesses knowledge of the Book.’
17:18

وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِنَ ٱلْقُرُونِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ نُوحٍ ۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِرَبِّكَ بِذُنُوبِ عِبَادِهِۦ خَبِيرًۢا بَصِيرًا

Allah / Is SufficientAttributes Of Allah / Al-Khabir (All-Aware)
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
How many generations have We destroyed after Noah! And thy Lord suffices as the Knower and Seer of the sins of His servants.
17:66

إِنَّ عِبَادِى لَيْسَ لَكَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَٰنٌ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِرَبِّكَ وَكِيلًا

Allah / Is SufficientAttributes Of Allah / Al-Wakil (Disposer Of Affairs, Guardian, Trustee)Satan / No Power Over Pious, BelieversServant / Of GodSatan / Arrogance Of

As to My servants, thou shalt certainly have no power over them, and sufficient is thy Lord as a Guardian.
17:97

قُلْ كَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ شَهِيدًۢا بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَكُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِۦ خَبِيرًۢا بَصِيرًا

Allah / Is SufficientWitness / Allah Bears Witness

Say, ‘Sufficient is Allah for a Witness between me and you; surely, He knows and sees His servants full well.’
21:48

وَنَضَعُ ٱلْمَوَٰزِينَ ٱلْقِسْطَ لِيَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ فَلَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَيْـًٔا ۖ وَإِن كَانَ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍ مِّنْ خَرْدَلٍ أَتَيْنَا بِهَا ۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِنَا حَٰسِبِينَ

Accountability (Hisab) / Allah Calls To AccountAllah / Is SufficientBalance (Wazan) / On Judgment DayDay Of Requital / Resurrection, (Yaumul-Qiyamah, Yaumud-Din, Yaumul-Akhirah, Yaumul-Ba‘th) / On That DayDay Of Requital / Resurrection, (Yaumul-Qiyamah, Yaumud-Din, Yaumul-Akhirah, Yaumul-Ba‘th) / Render Justice On TheHell (Jahannam) / Not EternalIslam / Accountability InJustice / Allah EnjoinsResurrection / Day Of
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And We shall set up accurate scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection so that no soul will be wronged in aught. And even if it were the weight of a grain of mustard seed, We would bring it forth. And sufficient are We as reckoners.
25:32

وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِىٍّ عَدُوًّا مِّنَ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ ۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِرَبِّكَ هَادِيًا وَنَصِيرًا

Allah / Is SufficientAttributes Of Allah / Al-Hadi (The Guide)Attributes Of Allah / An-Nasir (Helper)Enmity (‘Adawah) / Towards ProphetsProphets(as,Anbiya’) / Enemies OfProphets(as,Anbiya’) / Opposition ToProphets(as,Anbiya’) / Trials, Ordeals Of
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Thus did We make for every Prophet an enemy from among the sinners; and sufficient is thy Lord as a Guide and a Helper.
25:59

وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱلْحَىِّ ٱلَّذِى لَا يَمُوتُ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِهِۦ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِهِۦ بِذُنُوبِ عِبَادِهِۦ خَبِيرًا

Allah / Is SufficientAttributes Of Allah / Al-Hayy (The Ever-Living)Moral Traits / Trust In GodTawakkul ‘Alallah / Trust In Allah
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And trust thou in the Living One, Who dies not, and glorify Him with His praise. And sufficient is He as the Knower of the sins of His servants,
29:53

قُلْ كَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَكُمْ شَهِيدًا ۖ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱلْبَٰطِلِ وَكَفَرُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ

Allah / Is SufficientAttributes Of Allah / Ash-Shahid (The Witness)Falsehood (Batil) / Who Believe InLosers (Khasirun)Witness / Allah Bears Witness
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Say, ‘Allah is sufficient as a Witness between me and you. He knows what is in the heavens and the earth. And as for those who believe in falsehood and disbelieve in Allah, they it is who are the losers.’
33:4

وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ وَكِيلًا

Allah / Is SufficientAttributes Of Allah / Al-Wakil (Disposer Of Affairs, Guardian, Trustee)Tawakkul ‘Alallah / Trust In Allah

And put thy trust in Allah, and Allah is sufficient as a Guardian.
