4:95

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِذَا ضَرَبْتُمْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَتَبَيَّنُوا۟ وَلَا تَقُولُوا۟ لِمَنْ أَلْقَىٰٓ إِلَيْكُمُ ٱلسَّلَٰمَ لَسْتَ مُؤْمِنًا تَبْتَغُونَ عَرَضَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا فَعِندَ ٱللَّهِ مَغَانِمُ كَثِيرَةٌ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ كُنتُم مِّن قَبْلُ فَمَنَّ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ فَتَبَيَّنُوٓا۟ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًا

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
O ye who believe! when you go forth in the cause of Allah, make proper investigation and say not to anyone who greets you with the greeting of peace, ‘Thou art not a believer.’ You seek the goods of this life, but with Allah are good things in plenty. Such were you before this, but Allah conferred His special favour on you; so do make proper investigation. Surely, Allah is well aware of what you do.
5:17

يَهْدِى بِهِ ٱللَّهُ مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ رِضْوَٰنَهُۥ سُبُلَ ٱلسَّلَٰمِ وَيُخْرِجُهُم مِّنَ ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ بِإِذْنِهِۦ وَيَهْدِيهِمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ

Darkness / Spiritual, (Zulumat, Lail)Guidance / Allah GivesPermission / Leave, (Idhn) / Of AllahRidwan / Allah’s PleasureSalam / PeaceStraight PathLight (Nur, Diya’)Muhammad(sa) / As A Light—(Nur)

Thereby does Allah guide those who seek His pleasure on the paths of peace, and leads them out of every kind of darkness into light by His will, and guides them to the right path.
6:55

وَإِذَا جَآءَكَ ٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا فَقُلْ سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ كَتَبَ رَبُّكُمْ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ ٱلرَّحْمَةَ ۖ أَنَّهُۥ مَنْ عَمِلَ مِنكُمْ سُوٓءًۢا بِجَهَٰلَةٍ ثُمَّ تَابَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ وَأَصْلَحَ فَأَنَّهُۥ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

Allah / Mercy Of For Those Who Repent And BelieveAllah / Mercy Transcends His WrathMercy / Allah’s MercyRepentance (Taubah) / Door Of Always OpenSalam / PeaceSin (Dhanb) / Forgiveness Of

And when those who believe in Our Signs come to thee, say: ‘Peace be unto you! Your Lord has taken it upon Himself to show mercy, so that whoso among you does evil ignorantly, and repents thereafter and amends, then He is Most Forgiving, Merciful.’
6:128

۞ لَهُمْ دَارُ ٱلسَّلَٰمِ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ ۖ وَهُوَ وَلِيُّهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

Allah / Calls To Abode Of PeaceAllah / Friend Of BelieversDarus-Salam / Abode Of PeaceFriends (Auliya’) / Allah Is Friend, Protector, (Waliyy)Salam / Peace

For them is the abode of peace with their Lord, and He is their Friend because of what they did.
7:47

وَبَيْنَهُمَا حِجَابٌ ۚ وَعَلَى ٱلْأَعْرَافِ رِجَالٌ يَعْرِفُونَ كُلًّۢا بِسِيمَىٰهُمْ ۚ وَنَادَوْا۟ أَصْحَٰبَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ أَن سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ ۚ لَمْ يَدْخُلُوهَا وَهُمْ يَطْمَعُونَ

Barrier (Barzakh) / Partition Between Heaven And HellInmates Of HeavenSalam / Greetings Of

And between the two there shall be a partition, and on the elevated places there shall be men who will know all by their marks. And they will call out to the people of Heaven: ‘Peace be on you.’ These will not have yet entered it although they will be hoping to do so.
10:11

دَعْوَىٰهُمْ فِيهَا سُبْحَٰنَكَ ٱللَّهُمَّ وَتَحِيَّتُهُمْ فِيهَا سَلَٰمٌ ۚ وَءَاخِرُ دَعْوَىٰهُمْ أَنِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

Adoration (Sabbih), Praise, Exalt, Pray, Glorify / Glory Be To AllahAfterlife (Akhirah) / Greetings Of Peace InAttributes Of Allah / Ar-Rabb (The Lord)Attributes Of Allah / Rabbul-‘alamin (Lord Of All The Worlds)GreetingsParadise (Jannah) / Peace OfPrayers Of The Holy Qur’anSalam / Greetings Of

Their prayer therein shall be, ‘Glory be to Thee, O Allah!’ and their greeting therein shall be, ‘Peace.’ And the conclusion of their prayer shall be, ‘All praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.’
10:26

وَٱللَّهُ يَدْعُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ دَارِ ٱلسَّلَٰمِ وَيَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ

Allah / Calls To Abode Of PeaceAllah / Guides Towards The Right PathDarus-Salam / Abode Of PeaceFreedomGuidance / Allah GivesParadise (Jannah) / Peace OfSalam / Greetings OfSalam / PeaceStraight Path

And Allah calls to the abode of peace, and guides whom He pleases to the straight path.
11:70

وَلَقَدْ جَآءَتْ رُسُلُنَآ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ بِٱلْبُشْرَىٰ قَالُوا۟ سَلَٰمًا ۖ قَالَ سَلَٰمٌ ۖ فَمَا لَبِثَ أَن جَآءَ بِعِجْلٍ حَنِيذٍ

And surely, Our messengers came to Abraham with glad tidings. They said, ‘We bid you peace.’ He answered, ‘Peace be on you,’ and was not long in bringing a roasted calf.
13:25

سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيْكُم بِمَا صَبَرْتُمْ ۚ فَنِعْمَ عُقْبَى ٱلدَّارِ

‘Peace be unto you, because you were steadfast; behold how excellent is the reward of the final Abode!’
14:24

وَأُدْخِلَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ ۖ تَحِيَّتُهُمْ فِيهَا سَلَٰمٌ

Abide (Baqa) / Righteous Will In HeavenAfterlife (Akhirah) / Greetings Of Peace InGreetingsParadise (Jannah) / Believers Who Do Good Works Will EnterParadise (Jannah) / Peace OfPermission / Leave, (Idhn) / Of AllahSalam / Greetings Of
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And those who believe and do good works will be admitted into Gardens through which rivers flow, wherein they will abide by the command of their Lord. Their greeting therein will be ‘Peace’.
15:46

إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى جَنَّٰتٍ وَعُيُونٍ

Verily, the righteous will be placed amid gardens and fountains.
15:47

ٱدْخُلُوهَا بِسَلَٰمٍ ءَامِنِينَ

16:33

ٱلَّذِينَ تَتَوَفَّىٰهُمُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ طَيِّبِينَ ۙ يَقُولُونَ سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱدْخُلُوا۟ ٱلْجَنَّةَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

Angels (Mala’ikah) / Take Away The Souls Of Men, (Tawaffa)Dead, Death (Maut,Tawaffa), Caused,Paradise (Jannah) / Rewards Of, For The Righteous Men And Women, The Martyrs, The (Muhajirun), The Patient, Those Who Fear Allah, The PenitentPure / Righteous BelieversSalam / Greetings OfTayyib
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Those whom the angels cause to die while they are pure. They say: ‘Peace be unto you! Enter Heaven because of what you used to do.’
19:16

وَسَلَٰمٌ عَلَيْهِ يَوْمَ وُلِدَ وَيَوْمَ يَمُوتُ وَيَوْمَ يُبْعَثُ حَيًّا

Living (Hayy)Salam / Greetings OfJohn (Yahya(as))
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And peace was on him the day he was born, and the day he died, and peace there will be on him the day he will be raised up to life again.
19:34

وَٱلسَّلَٰمُ عَلَىَّ يَوْمَ وُلِدتُّ وَيَوْمَ أَمُوتُ وَيَوْمَ أُبْعَثُ حَيًّا

Living (Hayy)Salam / Greetings OfJesus (‘Isa(as)) / Miracles Of

‘And peace was on me the day I was born, and peace there will be on me the day I shall die, and the day I shall be raised up to life again.’
19:48

قَالَ سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيْكَ ۖ سَأَسْتَغْفِرُ لَكَ رَبِّىٓ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ بِى حَفِيًّا

Abraham said, ‘Peace be on thee.’ I will ask forgiveness of my Lord for thee. He is indeed gracious to me.
19:63

لَّا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًا إِلَّا سَلَٰمًا ۖ وَلَهُمْ رِزْقُهُمْ فِيهَا بُكْرَةً وَعَشِيًّا

They will not hear therein anything vain, but only greetings of Peace: and they will have their sustenance therein, morning and evening.
20:48

فَأْتِيَاهُ فَقُولَآ إِنَّا رَسُولَا رَبِّكَ فَأَرْسِلْ مَعَنَا بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ وَلَا تُعَذِّبْهُمْ ۖ قَدْ جِئْنَٰكَ بِـَٔايَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكَ ۖ وَٱلسَّلَٰمُ عَلَىٰ مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلْهُدَىٰٓ

Allah / Signs Of, (Ayatullah)Israelites / Moses RescuedSalam / PeaceMoses / Musa(as) / Story OfPharaoh (Fir‘aun) / Story Of

“So go ye both to him and say, ‘We are the Messengers of thy Lord; so let the children of Israel go with us; and afflict them not. We have indeed brought thee a Sign from thy Lord; and peace shall be on him who follows the guidance;
