27:82

وَمَاۤ اَنۡتَ بِہٰدِی الۡعُمۡیِ عَنۡ ضَلٰلَتِہِمۡ ۖ اِنۡ تُسۡمِعُ اِلَّا مَنۡ یُّؤۡمِنُ بِاٰیٰتِنَا فَہُمۡ مُّسۡلِمُوۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And thou canst not guide the blind out of their error. Thou canst make only those to hear who believe in Our Signs, for they submit.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور یقیناً تو اندھوں کو ان کی گمراہی سے ہدایت کی طرف نہیں لا سکتا۔ تُو تو محض ان کو سنا سکتا ہے جو ہمارے نشانات پر ایمان لاتے ہیں اور وہ فرمانبردار ہیں۔

French

Et tu ne peux pas guider les aveugles et les tirer de leur erreur. Tu peux faire entendre seulement ceux qui croient à Nos Signes, et alors ils deviennent obéissants.

German

noch kannst du die Blinden aus ihrem Irrtum leiten. Du kannst nur die hörend machen, die an Unsere Zeichen glauben und die sich ergeben.

[c]你不能引导瞎子脱离他们的迷途。你只能使信仰我的启示的人听 (你的劝告), 他们 (行为上) 也是忠顺者。

Italian

E non puoi guidare i ciechi fuori dal loro errore. Puoi soltanto farti sentire da coloro che credono nei Nostri segni, e si sottomettono.

Tampoco puedes guiar al ciego sacándolo de su error. Sólo puedes hacer que te escuchen quienes creen en Nuestros Signos, y se hacen obedientes.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور تو اندھوں کو بھی ان کی گمراہی سے بچا کر ہدایت نہیں دے سکتا۔ تو تو صرف انہی کو سناتا ہے جو ہماری آیتوں پر ایمان لاتے ہیں اور وہ (عملاً بھی) فرمانبردار [1]ہوتے ہیں۔

یہاں مُسْلِم کا لفظ ہے جس کے معنے ہیں عملاً فرمانبرداری کرنے والا (مفردات راغب)

اور نہ اندھوں کو راستہ بتا کر بھٹکنے سے بچا سکتے ہو تم تو اپنی بات اُنہی لوگوں کو سنا سکتے ہو جو ہماری آیات پر ایمان لاتے ہیں اور پھر فرمان بردار بن جاتے ہیں

English - Sahih

And you cannot guide the blind away from their error. You will only make hear those who believe in Our verses so they are Muslims [submitting to Allah].

اور نہ تو اندھوں کو ان کی گمراہی دور کر کے ہدایت کر سکتا ہے تو ان ہی کو سنا سکتا ہے جو ہماری آیتوں پر ایمان لائیں سو وہی مان بھی لیتے ہیں

And not (can) you guide the blind from their error. Not you can cause to hear except (those) who believe in Our Signs so they (are) Muslims.

یہاں مُسْلِم کا لفظ ہے جس کے معنے ہیں عملاً فرمانبرداری کرنے والا (مفردات راغب)

Thou shalt not guide the blind out of their error neither shalt thou make any to hear, save such as believe in Our signs, and so surrender.

nor can you direct the blind to the Right Way, preventing them from falling into error. You can make only those who believe in Our verses to hear the call and then submit.

Nor can you lead the blind when they have gone astray. You can make none hear except those who believe in Our signs and have come to peace and submission.

Nor canst thou be a guide to the blind, (to prevent them) from straying: only those wilt thou get to listen who believe in Our Signs, and they will bow in Islam.
