And We produced for you thereby gardens of date-palms and vines; for you therein are abundant fruits; and of them you eat.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

پھر ہم نے اس کے ذریعے تمہارے لئے کھجوروں اور انگوروں کے باغات پروان چڑھائے۔ اُن میں تمہارے لئے بہت پھل (لگتے) ہیں اور اُن میں سے تم کھاتے بھی ہو۔

Et Nous en avons produit pour vous des datteraies et des vignobles ; il s’y trouve pour vous des fruits en abondance ; et vous en mangez.

Und Wir brachten damit Gärten für euch hervor von Dattelpalmen und Trauben; in ihnen habt ihr reichlich Früchte; und aus ihnen esset ihr;

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

پھر ہم نے تمہارے لئے اس سے باغات بنائے‘ کھجور کے (بھی) اور انگوروں کے (بھی۔) ان میں تمہارے لئے بہت سے پھل (پیدا کئے گئے) ہیں اور ان سے تم کھاتے ہو۔

Commentary:

In this verse God gives another illustration of the various boons and favours which He has bestowed on man. It also contains a subtle illusion to the fact that the garden of Islam will, forever, remain full of fruit-bearing trees of various kinds which will yield fresh fruits in plenty in every season.

پھر اس پانی کے ذریعہ سے ہم نے تمہارے لیے کھجور اور انگور کے باغ پیدا کر دیے، تمہارے لیے ان باغوں میں بہت سے لذیذ پھل ہیں اور ان سے تم روزی حاصل کرتے ہو

And We brought forth for you thereby gardens of palm trees and grapevines in which for you are abundant fruits and from which you eat.

[2](یعنی )پھلوں کی قِسم سے‘ اور اُن کی (نعمت والے باغوں میں) عزت کی جائے گی۔

یعنی ان کے اعمال کی جزا۔ کیونکہ پھل عمل کی جزا کو کہتے ہیں۔
