اور اگر (بالفرض) ہم ان پر (شناخت کی) کوئی آسمانی راہ کھول (بھی) دیتے اور وہ اس سے (فائدہ اٹھا کر) حقیقت کو سمجھنے بھی لگتے۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
And even if We opened to them a gate in heaven, and they kept ascending[1484] through it,
The verse may mean that if God were to open the gates of His mercy and avert punishment, then instead of turning to Him, the disbelievers would become engaged in the acquisition of material prosperity and comforts.
